Children are given the opportunity to explore and experience a variety of fun and stimulating activities in this program. It is built around monthly themes that set the kinds of activities that will be done. This time, children learn about art, science, music, social studies, early writing skills, numbers, and shapes. Show and tell is also incorporated into our circle time on Friday mornings. Time is also given for children to play outside, providing sensory stimulation and contributing to physical and social development, but only when the weather is fine.
Here’s a list of supplies that you will be asked to bring if your child is enrolled in this program. Make sure to label each item with your child’s name:
- A change of clothes－socks, pants, shorts, shirts, and underwear－suitable for the season
- Blankets, sheets, and a pillow if your child will be here at nap/quiet time
- A plastic, bib-style smock
- A glue stick
- A marbleized notebook
- Diapers and wipes
- A family photo and two individual photos of your child
