This program is provided on a first come, first serve, per-diem basis. It has two parts: the before-school program and the after-school program. The first one consists of breakfast time with food provided by parents, sitting with storybooks and puzzles, and playing with tabletop toys. The second consists of homework help, a session in the library area and arts and crafts area, playing board games, and video time. Afternoon snacks are provided for children. We also give time for outdoor play when the weather is favorable.
Children in this program are picked up from our center by the school bus before the start of a public school day and dropped off in front of our center after school is out. Sachem Transportation needs to be notified by parents who enroll in this program. We can provide you with contact numbers to do so.
Care may be included in the tuition according to your enrollment options. We provide care for early dismissals, half-days for parent-teacher conferences, emergency snow closings, and late starts with no added costs!
All parents will be required to fill out both medical and background forms for their children to let us know about medical problems, food allergies, and other health and safety concerns.
